OHGOD freely admitted to using the portrait pack, their members were not banned for using portrait pack. The same utility as the pack (show standings) was implemented in the next major pack. Trying to decry them for something that happened like a year ago and they didn't get in trouble for when investigated is pretty dumb.

Instead of banning goons (this was an alliance-wide modification) they added the small color dots in our chat - guess $ > ethics in Iceland.
They aren't really gaining an advantage, just they don't have to click on everyone's name and waste time. It was obviously a necessary thing because it was added in just like you said. Sticking in an iron clad manner to the rules just because they're the rules isn't ethical it's dumb and lacks reasoning to back up punishments/whatever.
